WELSH pop wizards Super Furry Animals are such a fantastic band that the fact that their recent album was sung entirely in their native tongue didn't stop it from being brilliant. And - honest - there's a parallel to be drawn here with Gloria Estefan's newie Alma Caribea (which translates as Caribbean Soul). But Estefan isn't quite as all-conquering as SFA; these 12 new Spanish tracks cycle disorientatingly between bon-bon shaking salsa sizzlers and overly- bongoed muzak that sounds like it's from the Sex And The City soundtrack. The highlight is the irresistible limbo lurch of No Me Dejes De Querer. But then they stick on a pointless four-to-the- floor remix on the end - which incidentally sounds like Basement Jaxx played backwards - that reflects badly on the entire enterprise.
