The West Virginia AFL-CIO has endorsed 93 candidates for state and federal offices in West Virginia's May primary election. They include 89 Democrats and four Republicans.
The endorsed Democrats running for federal offices include:
Jay Rockefeller for U.S. Senate, Alan Mollohan for House of Representatives from the 1st District, Jim Humphreys from the 2nd District and Nick Joe Rahall from the 3rd District.
The endorsed candidates, all Democrats, for state Senate include:
Ed Bowman in the 1st District, Larry Edgell in the 2nd, Jim Ball in the 3rd, Oshel Craigo in the 4th, Marie Redd in the 5th, Truman Chafin in the 6th, Tracy Dempsey in the 7th, John Mitchell in the 8th, Bill Wooton in the 9th, Mary Pearl Compton in...
