WHITBY, famous for its ruined abbey and links with Dracula, is becoming synonymous with one of the fastest-growing firms in the seafood sector.
Whitby Seafoods has bought Northern Irish Middleton Seafoods for an undisclosed sum, creating a business with a combined turnover of [Pounds]22m.
Whitby Seafoods managing director Graham Whittle said yesterday: "Through the joining of these two companies, both become stronger and better able to deliver excellent value for money to our customers.
