CONSTRUCTION work is set to begin on a controversial windfarm in North Yorkshire.
Sections of turbine up to 114ft long will be transported through Harrogate as assembly begins on the Pounds 13m Knabs Ridge project three miles west of the town.
Movement of the eight wind turbines, which will eventually stand more than 300ft tall and each generate two megawatts of electricity, will begin on Saturday if weather conditions are suitable.
