Pepsi-Cola is holding auditions for the star turn of its much- hyped US game show Pepsi Play for a Billion. With a top prize of $1bn, executives want to make sure that their signing is flawless. But they are not searching for a glamorous woman or a hunky man; they are searching for a chimpanzee.
The lucky primate will be required to arrange six numbers to reveal the winner of the top prize; Pepsi had been worried about the possibility of cheating if a human were to take on the job. "We are currently in the monkey-interviewing process... We need to make sure the game cannot be rigged," said Pepsi.
