Celebrity chef Paul Rankin has lost the chance to cook a meal fit for the Queen on her 80th birthday after going head-to-head in the kitchen against Co Meath chef Richard Corrigan.Judges in the BBC2 series Great British Menu, which pits two top chefs from a culinary region againsteach other to try to secure their dishes a place on the menu for the Queen's 80th birthday dinner, last night plumped for Corrigan's menu in the Northern Ireland heat of the competition.
