LEADING Liverpool councillors who are in line for inflationbusting pay rises are divided over what they will do with the extra money.
The council's nine executive board members will receive an annual rise of 179% taking their yearly incomes to pounds 19,102.
The ECHO approached each member of the executive board after council leader Mike Storey revealed that he would be giving his rise, which could be up to pounds 8,000, to charity.
Most councillors say they will be keeping their rise claiming it will help to make up for the money they have lost since being elected.
But Cllr Warren Bradley, executive member for leisure and tourism, says he will be giving some of his to charity.
