ONE of South Wales' best-loved cultural venues is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
And one of the projects which is being developed during its special birthday year is a new opera version of Under Milk Wood from John Metcalf.
Officially opened by Sir Geraint Evans in the summer of 1984, Taliesin Arts Centre is situated on the campus of Swansea University and has long served the twin purpose of not only bringing the wider public into an environment they would not normally visit, but also attracting a wide range of cultural events from across the world to the city.
