An exciting new exhibition opens this weekend. Dani Webb takes a look on your behalf

The Art Centre in Newcastle is marking the 200th anniversary of Robert Stephenson's steam trains with an exhibition of Colin Gifford's railway photography starting today.

The exhibition, which runs over six weeks, will focus on the work of his three highly valued books, 'Decline Of Steam', 'Each A Glimpse' and 'Gone For Ever' along with some unpublished work.
