WALLABIES fans from each corner of the world are preparing for tonight's Rugby World Cup final against England.
Matt Filipowski, 29, who grew up in central Queensland's Capella, will watch the game with 15 colleagues from Casey Station in Antarctica.
There are 50 people on the base where Mr Filipowski has been for just one month of a six-month project supervising the building of a runway.
"I love my rugby. Last week (for the quarter-finals) we had an Internet link-up where we had a revolving scoreboard every two minutes," he said.
"You wouldn't believe how much interest even that can generate when that's all you've got."
