POLAR bear cubs Lia and Lutik -- the Gold Coast's newest stars without stripes -- stole the multimillion-dollar show put on by the biggest fun parks yesterday.
Sea World, Dreamworld and Warner Bros Movie World all unveiled their latest attractions in a Boxing Day "war of the worlds" to lure summer holidaymakers.
Dreamworld opened its 13-storey, $5.5 million thrill ride, the Cyclone rollercoaster. Just down the Pacific Motorway, Movie World debuted its Harry Potter Movie Magic Experience and Batman Adventure -- The Ride II.
