That sort of description is normally associated with a no-frills, scantily skilled, heart-the-size-of-a-soccer-ball player. A bulldog.
It would hardly seem the way to characterise a schoolboy prodigy.
But they were the words Breakers coach Lee Sterrey used to describe the latest addition to his production line of young talent, Chad Mansley.
Mansley made his NSL debut against Adelaide Force on Friday.
It could have been an intimidating experience for a boy who only earlier this month completed his HSC at Whitebridge High.
