When Mohan Joshi turns on the healing power, a look of powerful serenity calms his features, and his hands become noticeably warmer.
"I'm just like any other person on the street," said Joshi. "But whenever I touch people, they get pain relief."
Joshi is a hands-on healer who is based in Mumbai; during his four-month visit to the United States to visit his son, he is offering his services for free to the community.
"When I was a child of around five or six, a god-man told my parents, 'This child has a power.' But neither I nor my parents believed this," he told India-West at an interview in his son's home last week.
