WASHINGTON, D.C.-Lamar Associates, a Washington, D.C.-based law enforcement consulting firm, announced on March 10,2007, the launch of "Missing from the Circle," a public service initiative to resolve cases involving missing or unidentified American Indians and reunite them with their families and communities. The March 10th launch came on the fifth anniversary of the disappearance of Kent Jacobs, a 42-year-old adult male from the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina.
