The annual Caribbean Comedy Show is on the horizon, and this year the promoters promise a banner year for Caribbean comedy, as it will be a special tribute to Vincentian stand-up Saluche, who passed away earlier this year.
This year, the show will feature from Barbados the man who is also known for his writing, and number one song, "Big Belly Man", McFingal. A schoolteacher by trade, he is a staple diet in Barbados as an MC and comedian, and he is bringing his unusual act to Montréal. With him will be Trinidad and Tobago's veteran Tommy Joseph.
