Tejanos making and breaking records.
Parece que everybody en la onda is making and breaking records. That's good news for Tejano fans because the more records are sold, the more records are made.
Aquí les va some info on what you can expect to see in the very near future.
Emilio Navaira and Roberto Pulido recorded a duet together. That's the first time they've ever done that and it turned out padrisimo. It's a ranchera with a super mariachi and it's called "Ahora Es Tarde." Like "Volver, Volver," and "La Ley del Monte," it's destined to be a beerdrinking classic.
Here's the storyline behind "Ahora Es Tarde." Two guys estan tomando en una cantina y llorando over the women who left them. The duet will be out on Pulido's upcoming CD due out in a couple of months. But you might get a glimps of it before then when the video comes out.
Jay Perez just finished recording part of his upcoming CD, tentatively titled "Steel Rain." According to Sony Discos, four of the tunes will be country-westerns y...
