WYOU-TV (Ch. 22) should officially have a new owner by the end of the month.
The Federal Communications, Commission has approved the transfer of the CBS-affiliate station's license from Diversified Communications Inc. to Nexstar Broadcasting Group, according to Perry Sook, the group's president and CFO.
Diversified, which owned WYOU for a decade, announced June 17 that Nexstar had agreed to buy the station. Industry sources put the sale price at $20 million, roughly $2.5 million less than what Diversified paid...
