NASHVILLE - Twelve United Church of Christ ministers finished a nine-day, two-citied training session that was geared to raise 17 million dollars for six American Missionary Association colleges on the Fisk University campus.
Memphis-based LeMoyne Owens College is the other school within the state destined to share the multi-million dollar pie.
According to Neil Pendleton, National Counselor, the United Church of Christ is taking part in helping to solve one of the world's great social problems - racial injustice.
