META VAUX WARWICK FULLER
A great deal of the fine work of Meta Fuller was lost in a warehouse fire in Philadelphia in 1910.
Many of her works are to be seen in Framingham, Massachusetts -- "Storytime" in the public library, a plaque of two nurses and a physician in the Framingham Hospital, and a statue "Jesus on the Cross" in the Episcopal church there.
The great Rodin was so impressed with her work that he offered to be her master, but she refused, believing her work would have more individuality without such a tie.
