Prosser-Tri-Cities bus service gets rolling -- First regular buses ever to roll between Prosser and the Tri-Cities had shoppers, students, workers and

even a swim team.

Correction: Because of a copy editor's error, funding sources for the Ben Franklin Transit's new regional service in Prosser were inaccurate in Tuesday's Yakima Herald-Republic. The service is paid for by an increase in local sales taxes by three-tenths of 1 percent, state motor-vehicle excise taxes collected locally and bus fares.
