Willie Nelson will release two albums this year, and the first one, "Rainbow Connection," comes out on Tuesday.
Longtime fans may be surprised that the title track of "Rainbow Connection" is from "The Muppet Movie." The seed for the album was planted years ago when Nelson's daughter, Amy, wanted him to do a children's record.
Written by Paul Williams and Kenneth Ascher, "Rainbow Connection" originally was sung by a bittersweet Kermit the Frog (in reality, Jim Henson) and made the Top 40 chart in 1979.
