Correction published December 8, 2000 - The e-mail address for Midwest Theological Seminary is inf@midwest.edu. An incorrect address is listed in the following story. Seminar classes are held on campus, although the classes so far have not been 15-week classes. The story incorrectly says no students attend class on campus.
Officials of the Midwest Theological Seminary say that they are known well worldwide but that they want to be better known in their own back yard, St. Charles County.
The seminary, just north of Wentzville's General Motors plant, now has its own 18-unit dormitory, and the school is working toward accreditation from a nationally recognized agency. James Song, the seminary's executive vice president, said the college's focus has been on international students who take correspondence courses.
