Feature: Nepali teacher campaigns for "greater Nepal"

KATHMANDU, July 4 (Xinhua) -- When Indian foreign secretary Shiv Shankar Menon arrived in Nepali capital Kathmandu last month to discuss bilateral relations, Nepali teacher Phanindra Nepal was arrested by police for trying to show the envoy a black flag.
"It was a blessing in disguise," the 50-year-old lecturer in Nepali literature at the Tribhuvan University told Xinhua Saturday in the capital city.
"I have been flooded with congratulations since then and more people are flocking to my organization, the Unified Nepal National Front (UNNF)," the teacher claimed.
Phanindra Nepal and his UNNF are campaigning for a "Greater Nepal". They are asking Nepal's southern neighbor India to "return the Nepali land ceded in the 19th century" when India was ruled by the British East India Company.
