It is also the second year in a row that the Michelin-starred restaurant, co-owned by Ross Lewis and Martin Corbett, has scooped the top RAI award.
The restaurant, which opened in February 1992 in the basement of the Dublin Writers' Museum on Parnell Square, won the best restaurant award in 2003, 2006, 2007 and 2009. In 2008 it won the RAI's best chef award.
This year's best chef award went to Danny Millar, head chef at Balloo House in Co Down since September 2006.
