SO a world famous accordion player walks into an arena and drops his pants to reveal a pink tutu.
As if... there's no such thing as a world famous accordion player.
Well yes there is. And he was here last night at the MTS Centre. Really. A crowd of 4,000 people saw him.
It was Weird Al Yankovic, the aptly named comedian/musician who treated a smiling audience to two hours and 20 minutes of his signature song parodies, polkas and hilarious video clips.
Yankovic, 47, has been a part of the pop culture landscape for almost 30 years and proved it with hits dating back to the early '80s and a series of video clips with his name and appearances mentioned on television shows like The Simpsons, Friends and every talk show you can think of.
Musically there is no genre Yankovic won't cover, whether it's rock, grunge, hip-hop, pop or polka, he's game for it...
