THE policeman in charge of the siege of the barrister Mark Saunders was kept in the dark about 10 critical events, a coroner said yesterday.
Saunders, 32, was shot by police in May 2008 following a stand-off with officers outside his home in Markham Square in London. Summing up at Saunders's inquest at Westminster coroner's court, Dr Paul Knapman highlighted the issues that the Silver Commander, Superintendent Michael Wise, knew nothing about.
