The good husbands jewel, or, Plain and easie directions how to know the means whereby horses, beasts, sheep, &c. come to have many diseases, and the way to cure them perfectly, and that with little cost or charges written by a very skillfull hand, who had this knowledge not by reading or perusing any book, but by above thirty years experience, besides the practice of his ancestors ; most useful for all countrymen, whereby they may be enabled to preserve their cattle ; also an admirable and safe way for gelding and splaying, both male and female ; approved by the testimony of divers worthy gentlemen, both knights and esquires in the counties of Yorke and Lincoln.
