Abstract

The objective of this tertiary study is to synthesize the existing knowledge about Blockchain applied to security of IoT. The results indicate that the most reported application area is the Internet of health, the most common use is data storage, and the most widely used framework is Ethereum. The biggest benefit is data security and the main challenge is scalability.
